Your assignment, should you choose to accept it…

I wrote the first sentence of my third book today. I’ve been trying to think of good names for a fictional town in the Midwest, but so far there isn’t anything that reaches out and says, “Pick me!” So…I need your help, friendly readers!

Please post a comment with a fictional town name with a location in the Midwest (you don’t have to name a state) that you think I should “build” stories around. Please don’t suggest a real town, but the name CAN be an existing town in another state. Try to keep in mind, it should be innocent enough to remind you of a picturesque town, but not so innocent that it sounds fake. Cupcake, KS would probably not work 😉 Thanks so much for your help!

    Just a thought … Biblical names, especially if they fit your fictional town or the theme of the story, are good for Midwestern towns.
